An animal shelter in the Ukrainian occupied town of Gostomel urgently needs help!

Gostomel is a small town 7 kilometers from Kyiv. Since the first day of the war there’s been fighting here. Houses and their inhabitants are constantly under shelling. Shooting is regularly heard, residents do not have electricity, there is not enough water, food and medicine.

For a couple of days, "green corridors" have been organized for residents that made possible the evacuation and delivery of humanitarian aid.

But the town’s animal shelter didn’t get any aid - 700 dogs and cats have nothing to eat. The shelter has been without electricity for more than 16 days. The generator is broken. For two days now the animals have no water. The shelter has already been shelled several times. Each time as a result of such shelling animals are killed ….

We have already applied several times to the Red Cross of Ukraine with a request to organize a green corridor for our shelter. The application was accepted, but for several days no one has answered us.

If you do not urgently provide shelter with water and food, the animals will simply die. We can't go to the river to get water - it's dangerous. We cannot order food delivery - Gostomel is occupied. We can't buy dog or cat food in Gostomel - the shops are ruined after the bombings!

We urgently need a green corridor to deliver all the necessary products to the shelter! Without it, our animals will simply die!

Please help us reach out to the authorities and organize a "green corridor" for our shelter!
