In American schools, districts choose to censor topics related to the LGBTQ+ community online. Students aren't allowed to look up information regarding transitioning, queer historical movements, or even websites regarding GSA's- which were designed for schools! All of these are filed under "alternative sexual lifestyles".

These restrictions prevent students from learning about important topics, and they deserve to get the education they want and need regarding the community. Censorship also alienates these students from others and can be harmful to self-esteem.
