The Availability of PayPal and it's services in Nigeria is more or less of a paradox.

For more than five years now, PayPal has been available in Nigeria, but Nigerians can only send money but can't receive payment via the payment platform.

The Payment giant's services are currently being used by millions of individuals and businesses worldwide to make and receive payments.

Although PayPal's services are becoming more and more dominant and essential to not just businesses but also individuals, who use it mostly as a way of receiving payments.

However, some African Countries( including Nigeria, Africa's number one economy) still can't receive payments via PayPal.

This issue seriously causes a lot of hindrance to the daily online activities of Nigerians and makes them miss out on a lot of opportunities, as most businesses only accept PayPal as their sole means of payment.

The ability to receive payments via PayPal is arguably more essential and crucial to the various individuals using the service, as most Nigerians money transfer via PayPal is on an inconsistent basis.

Hundreds of thousands of opportunities have probably been missed by Nigerians amounting to millions of dollars worth due to the inability to receive payments via the platform.

This is definitely a worrying situation that needs urgent attention and Immediate action.

I will consider my day's work complete if by writing this petition, I help in anyway to bring to the attention of PayPal's management the current burden and difficulty Nigerians experience due to the lack of full access to their services.

I also do hope that PayPal comes to the aid of Nigerians as soon as possible and help resolve this problem which is in accordance with their mission of making safer, easier and faster payments and transfers.
