King County planning gave Good Brewing Co. & the surrounding 8 other businesses a verbal commitment to operate while the "Adult Beverage Ordinance" was completed. These 9 businesses have been a cornerstone in the community & a safe-haven during the pandemic. With the completion of the ordinance, these small businesses that were said to be protected, are now being forced to close their doors for good.

With recent precedence in Washington State of a similar matter, we are calling for a Grandfather Clause to be added in the "Adult Beverage Ordinance" which would allow for Good Brewing & 8 other small businesses to be exempt from closure. Why would King County ask that businesses close after granting permission for operation in the first place? 

With Covid-19 continuing to exhaust financial resources, we are calling on the community that we love to stand up & amplify the voice of small local businesses. We need your HELP & SUPPORT!
