We are a local business situated in the heart of Ladner Village.

The city of Delta has recently decided to purchase our building and we have been given a 6 months to vacate our current location. This sudden decision has left us scrambling for alternatives within the Village, but suitable locations are scarce.

We need more time. We're asking the City of Delta for an extension of one year before we must move out. This extension will not only allow us to continue serving our community without interruption but will also give us more options with upcoming developments that promise new retail spaces.

The importance of small businesses like ours cannot be overstated; they help form the backbone of local economies and contribute significantly to community identity. 

We understand that progress is inevitable and necessary for any growing city like Delta; however, it should not come at the cost of displacing established local businesses without providing them ample time or options.

We urge you - residents, fellow business owners, customers and supporters from our community and others - to sign this petition urging City officials in Delta to extend our deadline by an additional year. Let's ensure that progress doesn't push out those who helped build this community.
