Amazing Show Downer is an app that allows musicians to slow down and change the pitch of digital tracks. A large section of the Amazing Slow Downer community does this using a tracks from the Spotify music library. Spotify intend to stop maintaining compatibility with Amazing Slow Downer from 1st September 2022.

Many musicians and educators around the world feel that this will be a significant loss to the musical education and development of thousands. Spotify are essentialy removing a tool that enables musicians to accelerate their progress, perform to the highest standard and perhaps even produce quality content that will one day make it's way on to the Spotify platform. 

Roni Music, the developer of Amazing Slow Downer, maintains that it would require very minimal effort on the part of Spotify to do this. 

Please sign the petition if you would like Spotify to maintain compatibility with Amazing Slow Downer.
