私の友人やその家族や仲間には、漁師さん、釣りに関わる仕事の人、釣りが大好きな人、海のそばで宿や飲食店をしている人、サーフィンが大好きな人、サーフィンに関わる仕事をしている人、ライフセーバー、相良の海が大好きで移住してきた人、毎朝犬を連れて散歩する人、夕暮れの砂浜を大切な人と散歩する人など、多くの人々が海と共に生活しています。

私がまだ幼い頃、2011年に起きた津波は、多くの尊い命や生活が奪われてしまったことは、

本当に悲しく言葉に表せないほど辛い出来事だったと聞いています。

そして、より多くの対策が行われていれば、助かる命もあったと学んできました。

命や生活を守るために対策を行うことは当然で、重要なことだと理解していますが、

私を育ててくれたこの海と砂浜を失うことは、私にとって、とても辛く悲しいことなのです。

この美しい海と砂浜を残しながら、命を守る案は、他にないのでしょうか?

Here in Sagara, many people live not only by the sea but also “with” the sea.

My friends, their families and acquaintances are fishermen, people here have businesses like inns and restaurants by the sea, people here are passionate about surfing and fishing not only as a hobby but also as a sports, during summers college students work at the beach as life savers and many moved to Sagara because they like taking walks with their loved ones by the beach or they simply love the sea.

When I was young, the tsunami that occurred in 2011 lost many precious lives and lives.

I heard that it was a really sad and indescribable event.

And I learned that if more measures were taken, it would have saved lives. I understand that it is natural and important to take measures to protect lives and livelihoods.

Losing the sea and beaches that raised me is very painful and sad. Is there any other way to save lives while leaving this beautiful sea and this sandy beach?
