On February 15th 2021 I (Khalil Coleman) was falsely accused of first degree robbery. For a year and a half I have been back and forth to Coverington, Kentucky for court appearances. On April 6th 2022 trial started, on April 8th 2022 I was found guilty in a jury trial. According to the state of Kentucky, they claim substantial amount of evidences against me. However there has been many concerns and discrepancies related to my involvement in this case & the case details; (false police statements, Co defended plea deals & testimony, Lies told on the witness stand, Removal of A jury + more) For 18yrs I have been dedicated to improving my community by working with at-risk youth teaching in various school districts throughout Wisconsin such as (Milwaukee Public Schools, Greenbay area school district, Seton Catholic School District, Vell Philip Juvenile Detention Center, St. Charles Boys Shelter & many more youth serving agencies) I’ve created programs for the city of Milwaukee around Violence Prevention as well as leading local & National Social Justice Movements. I’am an author of two books (Time & Place’ In The Life Of B&K, Time & Place’ Keylanda Story’) I have also been recognized city wide, state wide, & Nationally in Alkalies related to my community involvement. I’am  currently being held in Kenton County Detention Center awaiting a 10yr sentence. I’am asking for signatures in this petition for the purpose of a potential pardon in the state of Kentucky in the near future, if my appeal process does not work in my favor.
