ENG / RU

Many global companies are announcing their withdrawal from the Russian and Belarusian markets. Unfortunately, this also applies to the IT companies that ensure Internet connectivity, transparency and functioning. Cogent has notified its Russian clients about unilateral termination of relations. Amazon Cloud no longer works with Russian clients. Netflix, Spotify, Lumen, and many others have left Russia. The websites of many banks and the Central Bank of Russia have had their SSL certificates revoked.

The RosKomSvoboda project issued a statement calling on international campaigns to support Russian users in their quest to remain part of the global Internet.

We warmly support our colleagues. However, ordinary citizens are the first to suffer from the departure of global companies from the Russian and Belarusian markets. They lose their digital rightsб access to international services and information sources. They are forced to rely on dubious and unproven IT solutions.

Today, free global access to information without censorship and far-fetched bans is crucial for Russians and Belarusians.

We understand the pressure currently being exerted on international companies but urge them not to ruin millions' lives and not punish them for someone else's mistakes.

We are very grateful for their position to CloudFlare and ask other companies — Adobe, Atlassian, Autodesk, Cogent, Lumen, JetBrains, Microsoft, Oracle, Veeam, RedHat, Amazon, Airbnb, Booking.com, Canva, Figma, Spotify, Avast, Norton, Netflix and others to listen and support Russians and Belarusians in their desire to remain part of the global Internet, use services, develop and contribute at this challenging time.
