Singles should not be restricted from purchasing Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) flats. It is discriminatory and goes against HDB's core value of inclusivity. 

Already, singles are second-class citizens when it comes to public housing; we can only buy public housing at age 35, and even then only BTO 2-room HDBs or resale HDBs. Further restrictions deepen the inequity for single individuals, many of whom are not single by choice.

Housing in Singapore has been designed to prevent racial enclaves from forming, but segregation based on marital status is seemingly the effect here, unintentionally or otherwise.

We contribute to the work force and pay our taxes. We deserve a little more than being treated like second class citizens.
