I am a Veteran and trauma survivor who works with Vets and First Responders.

While it should be within everyone's reach, our brave men and women, who have served our country or responded to emergencies, often suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. It's heartbreaking to see them forced to seek treatment offshore due to the lack of coverage for effective treatments here in the USA.

Ketamine Treatments, including Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a safe, effective, fast-acting treatment. Ketamine is a medication that has been FDA has approved for over 20 years. The VA also recognizes its benefits. Despite this being an FDA-approved medication, at the federal level, many insurance companies do not cover Ketamine treatments, including KAP, leading our heroes to seek help elsewhere.

It's time we stand up for those who have stood up for us. We urge Congressmen and Senators to support legislation that will ensure veterans, first responders, and mental health professionals - indeed anyone suffering from PTSD or related conditions - can access Ketamine treatments, including KAP, and insurance support without having to leave their homeland.
