Tesco plan to open on the day of our Queen’s funeral from 9am until 6pm. 
Other retailers will close completely for the whole day, as a mark of respect. Does this mean Tesco have no respect?

many Tesco employees will have children at home, as ALL schools will be shut. Childcare will be difficult to arrange as the few who may not want to watch will be inundated. 
Some of us have only ever known one Monarch in our lifetime, the Queen spent 70 years of her life serving this country. This is a historic event for us all, when we are asked in years to come what we did on this day, are we really going to say we went shopping?
