Why this petition matters

First Fruit Ministries is a non-profit serving victims of human trafficking in Wilmington for over 24 years. FFM takes a holistic approach to identifying victims on the streets who are experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, and sex or labor trafficking, and connecting them with housing and supportive services to rebuild their lives and recover from trauma. In 2020, we opened 5.11 House which serves victims of commercial sex or labor trafficking with 6 months of transitional housing upon identification.
