The Class 150 that is currently supplied with Rivet Games - West Cornwall Local is nowhere near an acceptable standard that is suitable for release.   We have all listened to many examples of the pre-release audio and have found MAJOR inaccuracies across the range.    Some have been highlighted below.     We want Rivet and Dovetail Games to work on improving the sounds to a more acceptable quality,  

1) Engine sounds generally too quiet both internal and externally. AND generally the engine revs pitch does not reflect the throttle notch position.  

2) Engine sounds do not rev up and then settle before the train starts to move. 

3) Brake release sound is inaccurate

4) Track joints inaudible / missing / incorrect

5) There is no brake rub open braking applications in any of the brake notches.

6) Rail curve ‘squeal’ sounds when going round bends or over sharp point curves missing. 

7) There needs to be 1-2 second delay after engine revs rise to the train actually moving off

8) Acceleration from 0-20mph too quick. 

9) The  does not go back into torque converter ( gear 1 ) when the train goes below 45mph like it does in the game.  Once it has gone to direct drive, it then doesn’t go back into the first gear until the train reaches below 40mph See Armstrong powerhouse’s 150 driving manual for this info.
