Russia is invading Ukraine: it is violating international law and legally binding agreements such as the 1994 Budapest memorandum in which Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons and materials in return for unequivocal guarantees of sovereignty and territorial integrity, signed by Russia, the US and the UK with separate agreements signed by France and China.
