#ReleaseTheTrankCut!

The last Fantastic Four movie has been around for four years. I must say, I'm still not very pleased. The editing fucked it up. According to director Josh Trank, who was known for directing the found footage superhero film Chronicle, the original cut was a "fantastic version" that would've gotten great reviews, but I can't tell if he was just being cocky like Legendary Pictures when they made Blackhat and Seventh Son or if he's right. I don't know what it was about Trank's original cut that 20th Century Fox didn't like but I think the fans deserve to see what could've been. They should at least release it on DVD and Blu-ray as a Director's Cut of some kind.

Perhaps the new management at Fox now under Disney should enlighten us. Don't get me wrong. I wanna see an MCU Fantastic Four movie. But until then, let's give Fant4stic what Mark A.Z. Dippe's Spawn and Mark Steven Johnson's Daredevil got,where a director's cut made up for a disappointment.
