For too long the national anthem has been something that doesn't reflect us as American people. We must resist! We must rise up as a community and fight for what is right - a better national anthem. After hours spent searching for the perfect song, I rise you The Hamburger Song Remixed by Big Willy Status. If we take a close look at other nation's national anthems we see an interesting trend, they all invoke patriotism, making one want to get up and sing about how great their country is. The Star Spangled Banner doesn't have that same effect. So instead of trying to make a cool sounding song, why don't we just sing about something we all love as a community. America is already so divided that a new song we will all love might just bring us closer together.
