NovelHD is a website that has started to pop up on Wattpad’s radar due to the complaints it is receiving for copying books off of Wattpad without permission from the author.

This is straight up plagiarism, and there is no way to report or take down the books on NovelHD, nor to contact the owner of the website. 

They are stealing these books regardless of popularity and how recent they are, so the wide audience on Wattpad either has or will be affected.

NovelHD has also replicated the accounts of the owners of the books they have stolen, which is another issue entirely. They have non consensually added people’s information to their website, both original thought, and personal information.

People on Wattpad are getting more and more aware of this issue, and are calling for justification. Many have tried and failed to remove their books from NovelHD, and have resorted to taking their books down from Wattpad, leaving more and more readers unhappy, along with the authors themselves.

We need to find a way to take down this website, or at least the books and accounts it has stolen. If anyone figures out how to do so, please contact someone on Wattpad and ask them to share the solution, because this issue is spreading faster than Covid 19.
