Yolo County Public Health Director is a qualified and licensed physician whose employment with Placer County was terminated, at which time she immediately was hired as the Public Health Director of Yolo County, California.  (Placer County, which rejected Dr. Sisson's orders, had significantly better outcomes for its citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic.)

Throughout 2020 Dr. Sisson, without regard for scientific evidence and without any critical scientific inquiry into the efficacy or consequences of her actions, ordered the citizens of Yolo County to wear face coverings and to "shelter in place."  These orders had the effect of increasing drug and alcohol abuse, increasing domestic violence, and markedly increasing suicides, including teen suicides.  All of these outcomes were predictable by established medical journal publications of which Dr. Sisson was aware. 

Dr. Sisson also was aware that masks are incapable of preventing the spread of any virus yet her orders required Yolo County's citizens to wear useless masks, thus willfully further exacerbating the negative effects on the health and well-being of Yolo County's citizens.  Additionally, although she was promoting a wanton destruction of Yolo County's economy through her scientifically baseless lockdown orders and mask requirements, Ms. Sisson allowed the county's elderly population to be killed by placing Covid-19 patients into elderly care facilities.  

Finally, Dr. Sisson was complicit in cover up of the existence of safe, plentiful, inexpensive and effective medicines which would have dramatically shortened the duration of the pandemic and saved tens of thousands of lives.  As a licensed physician tasked with guarding the public health Dr. Sisson surely was aware of the National Institute of Health's studies on this topic, printed among other places, here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/

Dr. Sisson must be punished as follows: 

1. Dr. Sisson's medical license must be revoked;
2. Dr. Sisson must be removed from office; 
3. Dr. Sisson must be investigated in connection with each death occurring within a Yolo County elder-care facility occurring in 2020; 
4. Dr. Sisson must be charged with reckless endangerment of the County's children, and negilgent homicide of the County's citizens.
