I grew up watching the commercials showing moms being the stay home domestic engineers. I even witnessed this growing up like many adults probably did. Why were all the domestic norms being put on mom? Who wrote the rules saying men can’t change diapers?
When I became a dad, a little later in life than most men, I started diaper duty immediately. Honestly it was not a second thought. This is my child too. Without a hesitation I would whip out the diaper bag and change that diaper, anywhere and anytime.                                                                                                   This brings me to my plead. As I see more and more diaper toting daddy’s I know they are having the same problem I have with finding a changing table. The majority of changing tables are in female bathrooms. I have had to change my children in some of the most awkward places. In fact, many of these parking lot changes have taken place in front of big name corporations. Some places will have a changing table, but it is located in the handicapped stall only.

I believe diaper companies could help us modern day men continue to be proud of our daddy duties and get this message out to please put more changing tables in men’s bathrooms. It is 2020, daddy's are more involved  with domestic duties. Time for the companies that sale the diapers to give us a place to change the diapers.
