Johns Hopkins Center For Talented youth is a prestigious program that recruits students  from all over the globe, and parents that pay expensive fees to allow these students to attend here. This program, that’s been going on for 40+ years, has taken a turn due to Covid. The lack of staff, and capable workers have affected the majority. The CTY administration has disregarded the mental and physical well-being of their staff. 

Some of the issues include, but are not limited to:

• The majority of staff not having access to their paychecks for 2 pay periods to date.
• The Covid policies are not able to be adhered to due to the lack of Covid tests, and inexperienced staff.
• The cancellation of many courses resulted in staff being laid off last minute, and had a major affect on students and parents with sudden changes.
