As a deeply concerned voter, I understand the importance of being well-informed before casting my vote. This election could potentially be our last legitimate one if our democracy is undermined by those with destructive intentions. Many fellow citizens have voiced their need to know if President Trump is a convicted felon in order to make an informed decision about our next President. I know I will not be voting for Trump, however, whether you vote for Trump or not, both sides  have a stake in having a quick decision from the Supreme Court. It is our right to have the outcome of the trial before the election. 

The U.S. Supreme Court's role is not to make politically motivated decisions but rather, it exists solely to make decisions based on case law and the Constitution. Therefore, we urge the U.S. Supreme Court to expedite its immunity ruling so that voters can have clarity before casting their votes in this crucial election.

According to Pew Research Center, 83% of voters say it "really matters" who wins this election (Pew Research Center, June 2020). This statistic underscores how vital it is for voters like us to be fully informed about candidates' legal standing before making our decision.

We implore the U.S. Supreme Court not only as concerned citizens but also as defenders of democracy – we deserve transparency and timely information that will impact our voting decisions significantly.
