As a devoted Blackburn Rovers Season Ticket holder, I am deeply moved by the legacy of Tony Parkes, a figure who has become synonymous with our beloved club. His contributions to Blackburn Rovers are immeasurable and his impact on the game is undeniable. 

Tony Parkes served as player, coach, and manager for Blackburn Rovers over an impressive span of 34 years. He steered our team through some of its most challenging times and celebrated with us during our greatest triumphs.

Yet, despite his significant contributions to the club and local community, there is no fitting tribute in place at Ewood Park that honours this legend. This petition seeks to correct this oversight by renaming the Riverside Stand as The Tony Parkes Riverside Stand.

By doing so, we not only honour a man who dedicated his life to football and specifically Blackburn Rovers but also inspire future generations of players who will grace the pitch at Ewood Park.
