Mangaluru and Hubballi are pivotal cities in Karnataka, each playing a vital role in their respective regions. The connectivity between Coastal Karnataka and North Karnataka is crucial for our state's development. However, the existing train service, Train Number 07377/07378 Mangaluru Junction-Vijayapura Express Special, has several limitations that inconvenience passengers.

The current schedule has an inefficient departure from Vijayapura in the evening, resulting in an arrival in Mangaluru the next day at noon. Similarly, during the return journey, the train departs from Mangaluru in the afternoon and reaches Vijayapura in the morning, taking almost 19 hours to cover 782 kilometers. This is far from ideal, and it's time for a change.

To make this train more passenger-friendly and beneficial for everyone in the region, we propose the following schedule adjustments:

Train Number 07377 Vijayapura-Mangaluru Central Express:

- Departure from Vijayapura: 4:00 PM
- Arrival at SSS Hubballi Junction: 9:10 PM
- Departure from SSS Hubballi Junction: 9:30 PM
- Arrival at Mangaluru Central: 9:30 AM

Train Number 07378 Mangaluru Central-Vijayapura Express:

- Departure from Mangaluru Central: 5:00 PM
- Arrival at SSS Hubballi Junction: 5:00 AM (next day)
- Departure from SSS Hubballi Junction: 5:10 AM
- Arrival at Vijayapura: 10:30 AM
