Our city of Washington, PA is currently lacking a dedicated space for our skateboarding community. As per the 2019 American Community Survey, there are over 13,000 residents under the age of 18 in our city (source: U.S. Census Bureau). Many of these young individuals have expressed their interest in skateboarding but lack a safe and legal environment to practice and enjoy this sport.
