Today is the 25th of February, 2022.  Russia has attacked Ukraine on the 24th of February, 2022 at around 5AM local time with overwhelming force, however the Ukrainian Armed Forces held against the first wave of attacks.  On the 25th new attack waves started, at this point most Ukrainian regions have been bombed with missiles, bombs, rockets, artillery fire.  There are thousands of casualties.  The occupying forces have taken over Chernobyl nuclear power plant and at this point the radiation levels are rising in Chernobyl.   Other power plants have been attacked.   Airports, bridges, roads, buildings, garrisons, weapon depots and people have been attacked and destroyed.  The dictator of Russia has been destroying everything that the Western world supposedly stands for, murdering opposition leaders, jailing everyone who tries to say anything against his authoritarian rule.  He has attacked Ukraine in 2014 and annexed a large portion of it, causing instability that had nowhere else to lead but to this war.  Do not be mistaken, this war will not be over even if Ukraine surrenders, the Russian dictator already promised to use nuclear weapons against any serious forces that may stand on his way.  So when did it become OK to threaten the world, to intrude into sovereign nations, with the expressed intention of destroying the country by tearing it apart, replacing a democratically elected government of the country with some puppet pro putin government?  When did it become OK for Canadians and for others to sit by idly, 'expressing concern' and observing instead of coming to the aid of the side that is so clearly right against the side that is so clearly wrong, but also criminally insane and mad?  I am asking for Canadian People to unite against this one threat and to help Ukrainian people in this fight against tyranny, oppression and destruction!
