ALL writers are underpaid and underappreciated. Writers in Hollywood, who create the series and films enjoyed by millions are currently on strike, citing shrinking paychecks while streaming services such as HBO, Paramount, Apple and others gather mind-numbing profits. What's worse, the plan is to hire writers for the first few episodes of a series, then use AI to create the rest.
