We, the residents of Bradford on Avon, as well as visitors and commuters, oppose Great Western Railway's proposal to close the Bradford on Avon station ticket office.  

Many people, especially older people and those with disabilities, will find the closure difficult, we believe. The ticket office is a valuable source of information and advice as well as ticket sales.  

We believe closure of the ticket office to be short sighted and could lead to an overall reduction in passengers, quite the opposite of what is needed at a time of climate crisis when we wish to encourage low carbon forms of transport.
