I am writing this petition from a place of deep personal connection. The news that Coney Island pool is closing permanently has left me, along with many others, in a state of shock. This beloved location has been my favorite place in the world for as long as I can remember. Every summer since childhood, I have swum in its waters, played putt-putt and skee-ball, basked under its sunny skies. There's no amount of money or new attractions that could ever replace Coney.

Sunlite Pool and Coney Island are not just recreational facilities; they are integral parts of our community here in Cincinnati, Ohio. They represent shared memories for generations who have enjoyed their offerings since they first opened doors back in 1886 (source: Cincinnati Historical Society).
