Arcola Energy are currently using the last British Rail Class 314 for hydrogen tests, which means stripping all its original motors out and replacing them with new, more eco friendly motors.

There's no telling what the future holds for this unit after tests are finished, though with it being the last remaining Class 314, its likely to be scrapped.

The goal here is preservation, since the Class 314 has had a massive impact on Strathclyde's railways.
