We as Florida Highway Patrol Troopers from across the state are in need of a better and competitive starting salary along with a career development plan, that goes with the cost of living in the State of Florida. Our Agency continues to lose exemplary troopers from the Highway Patrol to other agencies who provide a more incentive and beneficiary job opportunity. We believe that Governor DeSantis and the State of Florida have the sufficient funds to improve the agency and in the same way improve the lives of over seventeen hundred troopers that everyday patrol and protect the State of Florida and it’s residents.
