Why this petition matters

Started by Mason G

iCarly is a powerful and beloved franchise spanning 16 years and 9 seasons, with die-hard fans all over the world. According to Paramount+, the iCarly revival was their #1 show going into season 2 and, according to TelevisionStats.com, it was a top Paramount+ show throughout season 3.

On October 4, 2023, despite the iCarly revival's success and Paramount+ teasing a season 4 renewal, the show was cancelled on TWO huge cliffhangers (Carly and Freddie's almost-wedding, Carly and Spencer's mom reveal) without a proper explanation.

The cast and crew want the iCarly revival to be saved:

  • On December 8, 2023, Jaidyn Triplett (Millicent) posted the following on her Instagram: "I have been seeing all of your tweets, tags and comments about #saveicarly trending again. We appreciate all of your love and support."
  • On February 14, 2024, Nathan Kress (Freddie) posted the following on his Twitter/X: "thank you for your support and efforts since the announcement (#SaveiCarly still trends on my feed all the time-- you guys are the best)" and "I had also hoped that if I waited long enough, we'd have some definitive news for you, but so far, we're still waiting. But your voices are not going unheard, and we're not giving up on trying to finish the story!"
  • On April 24, 2024, Miranda Cosgrove (Carly) said the following in her LIVE with Kelly and Mark interview when asked about the cliffhanger: "Oh yes, my character Carly *is* actually about to get engaged to Freddie, [who] is my long-time love on the show."

iCarly can't end on a cliffhanger. We request a season 4 or movie to give this beloved franchise the closure it deserves.
