This campaign aims to fight the illegal censorship of Palestinian digital content on social media platforms (especially across Meta platforms, namely Instagram and Facebook):

Over the past week, the illegal silencing of Palestinian activists and restricting of their right to freedom of speech, under the pretext of “violating community guidelines”, a claim that could not be further from the truth, has reached its climax. 

Dozens of Palestinian accounts have been taken down by Meta platforms (Instagram in particular) for nothing other than using their voices to call for Palestinian human rights. 

Such targeted censorship is, in itself, an act of discrimination against Palestinians, carried out by platforms, who claim to fight discrimination in all its forms, a pledge that is not afforded to Palestinians.

By signing this petition, you stand for the Palestinians’ right to freedom of speech, one of the most basic human rights, which should be afforded to everyone equally, and against Meta’s discriminatory silencing measures of Palestinians.
