Two UK Prime Ministers have resigned in disgrace, one through lying, the other through incompetence. These people should forfeit their right to resignation honours. They have shown themselves unfit for office, what aptitude can they have for filling the upper chamber with honourable people?

The appointment of nominees from Mr Johnson and Ms Truss will further destroy public faith in our democracy, our political system, for the continued personal gain of a select few very wealthy cronies.

This is unacceptable and must be stopped.
