As dog owners and Monroe County residents, we would like a dog park created in the Village of Churchville, NY, specifically in the north side of Churchville Park, a park owned by Monroe County. Being that the Village of Churchville currently does not offer an area for dogs to exercise, play, and socialize, our goal in signing this petition, is to establish a dog park where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property, or wildlife. We, the citizens of the village and surrounding areas would like to develop a well-maintained space open to all dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the park's rules and restrictions. The dog park would be designated to satisfy the needs of dog-owners and non-dog owners alike.
