We support Carroll County Public Schools Superintendent McCabe and the Board of Education in their request for an additional $6.7 million in funding from the County to our schools in the FY2024 budget.

This funding is necessary to compensate for inflation and state-imposed Blueprint requirements, and to avoid extreme cost-cutting measures that would negatively impact our children's education.

We call on our Commissioners to provide Carroll County Public Schools an additional $6.7 million for their FY2024 budget as requested by the Carroll County Board of Education.
