THE PROBLEM - Our loving community is currently facing a significant challenge marked by a decline in social interactions and an increase in crime and disorder. Residents are no longer engaging in conversations, leading to a noticeable silence where lively discussions and shared laughter once prevailed. This disconnect is emblematic of broader societal issues, reflecting the scars of past conflicts, persistent racial tensions, and an overall sense of isolation. The impact of war and discrimination has further contributed to the breakdown in community cohesion. Recognising these challenges is crucial for addressing the multifaceted issues and working towards effective solutions to restore a sense of unity among residents.

A Call to Action: Breathe Life Back into Our Community

This is not just a problem; it's a collective call to action. We must recognise the urgency and address the silent epidemic that is silently isolating us from each other. We cannot wait for anyone to do this, it is our responsibility!

Let us revive the spirit of community, reignite conversations, and breathe life back into our shared spaces. Otherwise we are all doomed!

PLEASE Sign This Petition, We want The Global Day Of Community Restoration To Be Recognised As A International Day of Observance like International Men's Day, World Peace Day and International Odd Socks Day

Our lives revolve around dates on the calendar — from festive Xmas to special Mother's and Father's Days. Imagine if we could harness that energy not just once a year, but every single month! That's exactly what The Global Day for Community Restoration is all about.

OUR PROPOSED SOLUTION - On 29th of every day, we're calling on you to be part of a global movement. Amplify your intentions, contribute to positive change, and restore balance to our communities. It's not just a day; it's a mindset shift. Act intentionally, spread kindness, and be part of a movement that transcends borders.

Founded By Bankera Sanneh
In response to the pressing issues of knife crime, youth violence, and growing mental distress in communities worldwide, Bankera Sanneh introduced a groundbreaking idea—the Global Day of Community Restoration (GDCR).

The Proposal
Official Recognition - Officially recognising and endorsing the 29th of every month as the GDCR.

The 29th is an invitation to individuals, organisations, and communities to come together in a shared commitment to healing and positive transformation.

Objectives - By dedicating the 29th day of each month to collective community restoration, GDCR aims to:

1. Unite - Bring individuals, organizations, and communities together for a shared commitment to healing and positive change.

2. Foster Collaboration - Encourage collaboration and unity among diverse entities for the greater good of our communities.

3. Promote Kindness - Advocate for intentional acts of kindness, unity, and community restoration on a global scale.

4. Break the Cycle - Break the cycle of violence and division by promoting a mindset shift towards peace, unity, and compassion.

Call to Action - We invite you to join us in calling upon governments, community leaders, and stakeholders at all levels to support and promote GDCR by:

Encouragement - Encouraging individuals, organisations, and communities to actively participate in GDCR activities.

Support - Providing resources and support to facilitate GDCR initiatives and events.

Amplification - Amplifying the message of GDCR through various communication channels and platforms.

Why GDCR?
GDCR represents a unique and fresh approach, transcending traditional methods. It is a call for collaboration, unity, and intentional positive action, bringing communities together on a global scale.
