Why this petition matters

Started by Brad Whitelaw

IF an Application for Minor Variances is approved by Town of Pelham's Committee of Adjustment on August 8, 2023, those Fonthill residents living, working and traveling near 105 Welland Road (Concordia Lutheran Church property) will be negatively impacted by a proposed 6-storey condominium building (48 units), plus 1 level of underground parking, which would be built on the church's current parking lot.

This proposed development does not suit this established residential neighborhood.  It would negatively affect and impact the character of this neighborhood, and would have many negative environmental, traffic, pedestrian safety and quality of life impacts on this established community.

The Town of Pelham's Committee of Adjustment will be holding an in-person meeting on August 8, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at the Meridian Community Centre (Accursi Room B), 100 Meridian Way, Fonthill, to receive comments on the developer's application for minor variances.  We are encouraging all Pelham residents to attend this Committee of Adjustment meeting and show their support for the rejection of this application for minor variances!

If you can not attend this meeting in person, you can participate virtually via. Zoom Webinar.  You will need to pre-register by sending an email to the Town's Secretary Treasurer of the Committee of Adjustment, Sarah Leach, no later than noon on August 4, 2023.
