In their Winter Release, Airbnb has finally introduced the Verified Wifi feature, which has long been awaited by anyone who works remotely from Airbnbs.

If you use Airbnbs for holidays maybe you are not that bothered but for business travelers, remote workers, and digital nomads fast & reliable internet connection is absolutely crucial!

The new feature means that Airbnb Hosts can verify the WiFi speed, however, what Airbnb forgot to do, is to:

• put the money behind this feature and start promoting it so Hosts actually know about it and understand its importance;
• make the feature mandatory so when the Host wants to add the WiFi, they automatically have to verify the speed of it. What's the point of adding WiFi if Guests don't know what speed they can really expect.

We would like to ask Airbnb to do that and for once and for all solve the issues that remote workers have when booking Airbnb accommodation. Guest should no longer be expected to keep educating hosts about adding the WiFi speed info!
