��HELP SAVE CHESTERFIELD BMX TRACK IN RINGWOOD PARK‼️

At Chesterfield BMX Racing Club we have finally gained our new 25 year lease for BMX Track in Ringwood Park. This now means we can finally apply for much needed funding at this crucial point, or we face closure. 

Our beloved BMX track in Chesterfield, UK, has been a hub for local and visiting riders for 40 years, hitting our anniversary in April 2024. However, its current state is far from satisfactory and urgently needs an upgrade. The current state of the track not only limits our riders' potential, but also poses safety risks due to its outdated design and worn-out surface.

BMX riding has seen a surge in popularity over recent years and so it is essential that we provide a safe and modern facility that meets current standards for everyone.

Modernising Chesterfield BMX track will provide safer conditions for our riders and the public when using the track. A safer up-to date track will also attract more participants to this exciting sport and ensure we can continue to run half-term programmes during the school holidays for local children aged 2-16years. We will be investing in our community's health and well-being while promoting an active lifestyle among residents of all ages. It will also provide opportunities for local events and competitions.
