Cannabis, Yes. Near Schools, NO! 

The 1000ft Rule, the federal standard, would keep recreational shops away from schools, parks, and daycare centers. As we have seen, the line of people queuing to purchase Marijuana can stretch for blocks. Many even smoke while waiting. Though now legal in NJ, we can limit their location. 

Sign this Petition, Tell the West Orange Councilmembers: Williams, Gherbemichael &Rutherford to join Councilmembers Susan Scarpa and Michelle Casalino to pass the 1000ft rule.

La Regla de los 1000 pies, la norma federal mantendría a los establecimientos recreativos lejos de las escuelas, parques y centros de cuidados. Cómo ya hemos visto, personas haciendo largas filas para comprar marihuana; estás largas filas pueden alcanzar varias cuadras y muchas de las personas fumando mientrás esperan.
