Hello Everyone, thanks for your time and attention span...

The ULTIMATE Goal:

Get 1,000,000 signatures from U.S. citizens who believe Manolo Lopez should be granted his United States citizenship in order to achieve his honor of serving in the United States Air Force.

The short of it: If you want a badass, capable leader who will do a DAMN good job at serving/protecting his fellow Americans, sign this petition.

The long of it:

While Manolo Lopez was born in Mexico, all he has ever known has been life as an American. After being brought over the border when he was 2 years old, Manolo grew up in Azusa, California, obsessing over Star Wars movies and playing with his friends in his free time just like many of us did growing up. As he aged, Manolo developed a strong desire to give back to the country and community that he loved so much. So upon finishing high school, he went to sign up to serve in the United States Air Force, and to live his dream of rescuing innocent people and saving the lives of his fellow brothers and sisters in arms on the front lines, as an Air Force Pararescueman. As Manolo is not legally a citizen of the United States, he is unable to serve in the military and was turned away and told by many to give up his dream. 

But he didn't give up.

Instead of calling it quits, Manolo became an EMT (Emergency Medical Transponder) in order to sharpen his medical skills that are associated with the pararescue career field, all the while progressing his physical capabilities in preparation for the demanding requirements associated with becoming a member of U.S. Special Operations. That leads to today, where Manolo is now in a place where I know the service and excellence that he would provide within' the military would be extremely beneficial to the service and protection of the United States.

When we get 1 million signatures from U.S. citizens who believe that Manolo should be granted citizenship in order to serve in the military, we will bring this petition to state/federal level representatives in hopes that it will expedite his ability to achieve his citizenship.
