Delta is making it impossible to make their Elite membership with the new policy they are about to implement on Jan 2024. With the MQD introduction, it will make it nearly impossible for some international countries to even be a silver member due to currency exchange. The amount they are proposing for each level is almost impossible to become anything, in my opinion, they are trying to sideline international members. Telling us not to be part of them is better than what they are proposing. Below is there preposition;
Starting January 1, 2024, you will earn MQDs on Delta flights2. Plus, we are introducing ways to earn MQDs from purchases on an eligible Delta SkyMiles® cobrand credit card issued in Japan, car rentals and hotel stays booked on delta.com. 

With many more ways to earn MQDs, this is what you will need to achieve in 2024 to earn 2025 Medallion Status:  

Silver Medallion: $6,000 MQDs  

Gold Medallion: $12,000 MQDs  

Platinum Medallion: $18,000 MQDs  

Diamond Medallion: $35,000 MQDs
