The Congress of communities and the Southwest Benefits Communities Coalition, in collaboration with the Livernois2Clark Block Club, are on a mission to bring change to our neighborhoods. We've united to tackle the longstanding issue of trucks taking over our residential roads and urgently push for the Trucking Ordinance. Residents have endured this problem for far too long, and it's time for action!

Residents are facing Numerous Challenges:

Some issues of many that residents are enduring and seeing by truckers:

1. Idling: Pervasive idling leads to air pollution, harming our community's health.
2. Truck on Residential Street: Our quality of life is impacted as these semi trucks disrupt our neighborhoods.
3. Truck Speeding: Pedestrians and other vehicles are put at risk as trucks zoom past.
4. Cutting Corners: Green Spaces are being ruined and pedestrians endangered
5. Late Night Disturbance: Trucks on our streets past curfew hours are waking up our neighbors.

These are just a few of the many problems residents like you and I are facing daily!
