Petition to Increase Mod Limits for Skyrim and Fallout on Xbox Series S|X
The Issue
The modding community is a key part of what makes Skyrim and Fallout special, allowing players to customize and enhance their gaming experience. Unfortunately, both games are currently limited by mod size restrictions on Xbox 5GB for Skyrim and 2GB for Fallout restricting access to many high-quality mods.
With the release of the Xbox Series S|X, which offer significantly more power than their predecessors, and the recent example of Starfield supporting 100GB of modding space, it's clear that these technical limitations should no longer be an issue.
We urge Bethesda and Xbox to increase the mod size limits for Skyrim and Fallout, giving players the freedom to use more expansive and diverse mods. This would allow for a more enjoyable and customizable experience on Xbox, benefiting the entire gaming community.

The series s/x are extremely capable machines, and were talking about minimally updating games that should have been optimized many years ago. So, if sacrificing my current modlist is needed to dramatically increase mod space, ill gladly pay that price. Besides, if executed correctly and ample notification is given by Bethesda as to the date of said update, we can just use our phones and take pictures of our current mods. Then all anyone would have to do is download them again and revise with any mods they wish to add. Personally, I'd just like to keep enjoying a flawed, yet fantastic game, and not have to worry about a mod limit that keeps us Fallout 4/Skyrim players from molding our vision of the ideal gaming experience.
As a console player I try to mod my games to be more quality of life but with the limited space we have now I've had to skip out on many mods that assist that. I love Bethesda games and have ever since I played skyrim for the first time and being able to customize my experience with mods makes me feel like I'm playing an almost new game each time. I hope to be able to continue moding with a larger storage space soon.
I remember that used playing fallout 4/Skyrim on PlayStation and finding the modding scene lacking at best Years later my brother gave me his Xbox when he came down for a while. I remember rebuying them and the modding scene seemed a lot more livelier than PlayStation. Only to realize that there's a limit Which kinda sucks since starfield has 100 gigs, I genuinely hope that we can get more space for modding for Xbox in the future
