GET RID OF AIRPLANE NOISE!
 
Yes! I am fed up with airplanes over the Santa Barbara coastline and adjacent areas that are:
 
·      Too loud
·      Too low
·      Too polluting
·      Too numerous
 
Commercial and private airplanes are often not following the SBA-recommended noise abatement route for visual approach over the ocean. Instead, they are lining up over our homes, thereby adversely affecting the livability of our communities.
 
Please add my name and zip code to the growing list of residents who are demanding the peaceful enjoyment of their properties, free of the constant bombardment of planes taking off from and landing at the Santa Barbara Airport using overland routes. The small number of people calling into the SBA’s noise hotline is just the tip of the iceberg of community outrage about this public nuisance.
 
It is not a hard fix. It just takes the political will to get the Federal Aviation Agency to route the planes over the ocean—the way they always used to fly.
