Jio Airfiber is a new wireless interent service. It sounds awesome and works opposite. It has multiple issues and Jio is selling half-baked product at the minimum 6month contract and simply hiding behind the unethical no-refund policy which we never opt for.

Some of the major Issues with the Jio Airfiber and not limited to:

  1. I had to paid twice after kyc as the first request NO0000UJPCSB had complication or being put on HOLD intentionally. It took me weeks, 20days to get my money of the first order, reaching different support channels. Means i paid 8481.84 (refunded) + 8481.84 and had to beg for my own money.
  2. The issues with Jio airfiber was from the start. However i tested it and posted my review over twitter https://twitter.com/aryanrajseo/status/1742200540820312518 It has only few issues mentioned.
  3. Frequent disconnection, no interent for few min, speed drop are abnormal, happens quickly at random time and can't be recorded during an engineer visit. However, i tried recording sometime which you can see https://twitter.com/aryanrajseo/status/1748733202301387026/photo/1 and in attachment (image with Mobile data turned off is when wifi disconnect for a sec and connect). Things are hard to record.
  4. A recent review was published with similar experience including paying twice for a single connection as the booking app still has these issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzJL8cn8XVk&t=720s watch for next 1min or the whole video.
  5. There are people who are better in Networking, VPN, Server stuff over broadband.forum and most of them are having these issues but not limited to.   7. Promised Fiber calling is not live or working.
  8. 1TB FUP limit with unethical way to sale data booster at high price. I consumed 1tb as i downloaded some file backups and received no warning on the 80-90% uses. I was stuck to pay almost a month of amount for 2-3days in my renewal which can't be deducted from my advanced payment. How ethical is that?
  9. Why not 1month, 3month plan. You offer 6month,1yr plan with no-refund policy? how fishy things are here.
  10. no relocation, forcing everything on users.

If you look clearly, the Airfiber is not clearly as advertised. It has lot of issues from the backend, Mimo devices which need to be fixed from their part. I paid for the service and Jio failed to offer that experienece. They are basically taking the benfits of the rural people where no optic fiber is available. as a Web developer, Trader, Interent is the core of my Business. I work on interent, all day.

 

Now,

A. If it had outstanding payment on the postpaid, they have rights to get the money but now when i have have advanced payment, i have no rights to get it back? Please confirm.

B. Calling is not live, why they are selling half-baked services?

C. I requested for the connection cancelation but receiving no reply from

D. An Engineer visit can't fix the issue. Thousands of tickets with RSSI issue are open and get closed/IGNORED with no fixes.

E. It seems like they also not refunding a prepayment and not canceling the pre-bookings.

Adding Additional issues with Jio Airfiber.

  1. No Bridge mode.
  2. Can't turn off Wifi.
  3. Can't block a device.
  4. Can't get a static IP.
  5. Locked Router.
  6. can't have different  SSIDS for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz
  7. no relocation
