Stop “Don’t Say Gay” Laws in Florida! 

The Aspen Project has decided to shed light on a situation happing in the state of Florida at this very moment!

Currently, harmful legislation is being considered in the Florida government to enforce ‘Don’t say Gay’ laws within their schools. This would ban the mentioning of any LGBTQ+ topics or words within school halls by staff. 

New amendments to the bill has been added recently that would require Teachers and Staff out suspected LGBTQ+ students to their parents. This amendment in particular could displace many children from their home if they are outed to their family and kicked out. In some cases could lead to abuse within the home.

Please consider messaging Florida Government Officials asking to vote against this bill for the safety of their young citizens! This bill has been passed on to the Floridian Senate to be discussed!   

This could lead to mainly harmful scenarios for young LGBTQ+ folk. Please help end this awful legislation. :•)
