This campaign is for requesting Committee on Character and Fitness in First Judicial Department the Supreme Court of New York to investigate Kei Komuro's suspicions.
Kei Komuro passed Bar Exam and now he is facing Character and Fitness investigation. But, following four suspicions supposed to impact to the judgement.
1. Falsifications of his career.
2. Law school education history
3. His admission eligibility of Fordham Law LLM course.
4. Illegally obtaining Bar Exam Questions.
Therefore, we would like Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate these suspicions for fair judgement.
Here is detail of each suspicions.
1. Falsification of his career.
Regarding his awards in Fordham Law,
As of now. Kei Komuro’s education history is shown on Lowenstein Sandler LLP as below.

If Kei Komuro put these two awards on his resume, it is obviously falsification of his career to enter Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
Regarding his job career in Japan,
Lowenstein Sanlder LLP introduce Kei Komuro that He has experience working in Tokyo at both a law firm and a foreign exchange bank where, as a certified securities broker representative, he provided loan and foreign exchange services and prepared financial analyses for non-Japanese corporate clients.

Kei Komuro worked at Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ Bank for one and half year. But, his job experience was just entry level. All of new employees who begin to work at any Bank in Japan are work as assistant, and they are not allowed to work for financial analysis or other important job.
Also, one of medias reported that "His resume showed he awarded twice at the bank, but his coworker said it haven't been heard his awards."
Regarding Internship in California,
One of weekly magazine in Japan reported as below.
"Kei Komuro entered UCLA and work as an internship at DENTSU AMERICA California brunch office in 2013. But, the brunch office was not existing at the time."
The reporter also confirmed with DENTSU Headquarter that DENTSU AMERICA California office was not existing.
If he put his career on his resume, it is obviously falsification of his career.
These three falsifications are very important to judge his honesty.
2. Irregular Law education.
Most of students start from three year J.D course, and some of students take LLM cause after the J.D. course. But, Kei's law education career started from LLM and entered two year J.D. course.
Here are two points of concern:
i) Starting from LLM might be for avoiding LSAT.
Fordham law says that applicants to the LLM program with a law degree from outside of the United States are not required to sit for the LSAT exam.

If he doesn’t have appropriate law degree to enter Fordham Law LLM, it is a concern.

ii) Why did Fordham Law approve his law education plan.
Fordham law announced about Kei Komuro as below..
"Kei Komuro, a paralegal at the Okuno & Partners law firm in Japan who is engaged to be married to Japan’s Princess Mako, will attend Fordham Law School starting in August. He has received the Michael M. Martin Scholarship. The Martin Scholarship is a merit scholarship covering the full cost of tuition from Fordham Law based on his strong academic and other credentials. The Martin Scholarship is not a loan and does not need to be repaid. He will enter the law school’s one-year LL.M. program and then hopes to continue for two more years to receive a J.D."
In this paragraph, there are three concerns.
1: Why Fordham Law introduced Kei Komuro as Fiancé of Japan's Princess Mako?
New York Times Reported "He’s Supposed to Marry a Japanese Princess. Just Don’t Call Him Her Fiancé." "On Thursday, in response to a request by Japan’s Imperial Household Agency, which oversees the ceremonial functions and protocols of the royal family, Fordham removed a phrase from a news release that had trumpeted Mr. Komuro, a paralegal in Tokyo, as the “fiancé of Princess Mako of Japan.”
Kei Komuro might use the status "Fiancé of Japan's Princess Mako" to enter Fordham Law and obtaining scholarship. After this report, Fordham Law modified the announcement on their website.

2: What is Two Year JD Program
As of now, the Two year JD program has already been abolished, and now Fordham Law doesn’t offer two year JD program any more. We anticipate applying this Two Year JD Program was for only Kei Komuro and it was special operation. In fact, his name is not listed on 2021 Graduates.

3: Scholarship
Kei Komruo obtained scholarship to cover all of the tuition. But, his career and education history might not meet the criteria for the scholarship and admission. His royal status"Fiancé of Japan's Princess Mako" was used for the scholarship and admission.
Using the status for personal profit and desire is not appropriate as attorney.
It is anticipated that any special operation performed for him.
3. His admission eligibility of Fordham Law LLM course.
Based on media report, Kei Komro graduated Hitotsubashi University ICS (International Company Strategy) Business Law Course in 2018. But, the course was acquired by Hitotsubashi University Law Division after his graduation.
The point is the business law course which Kei Komuro taken was not for comprehensive law studies. It just focuses on business law.
Basically, all students who would like to become an attorney, they study laws at four year collage. but, Kei Komoro didn’t enter it, and just studied at ICS Business Law course. Also, when he entered the school, it didn't require admission test. so, anybody can enter the school without admission test.
Is this education appropriate to obtain eligibility of Fordham Law LLM admission?

4. Illegally obtaining questions of Bar Exam.
One of Japanese medias “Monthly Themis” reported
"Kei Komuro reported to Japan embassy that he could do well at the Bar Exam, because same questions were on the Bar Exam as he heard."
If the questions at Bar Exam were same as he obtained, there was possibility that Japan embassy obtained Bar Exam Questions in advance…
If this report is truth, this is unfair. It must be investigated.
For these four suspicions, We would like to ask Character and Fitness Division to deeply investigate Kei Komuro.

小室圭氏の職歴について
Lowenstein Sandler社のホームページにいは次の通り書かれています。

しかし、銀行では１年半しか勤めておらず、入社１年目から２年目にこのような重要な仕事を任せるかは疑問で、通常はアシスタントになると思われる。
その為、職務内容についても深く確認する必要がある。
カリフォルニアでのインターンについて
１つの週刊誌は下記のように報じている
小室圭氏は履歴書の中で2013年のUCLAへの留学中インターンで電通アメリカのカリフォルニア支店でインターンをしたと書いているが、
当時電通アメリカにはカリフォルニア支店は存在していないということである。
これについては弁護士になるのに相応しいか判断する為に調査されるべきである。
２：通常ではない法律の学び方について
ほとんどの学生は３年間のJDコースを終了した後にLLMコースを受講するが、小室圭氏の法学歴はLLMから始め２年間のJDコースを受講している。
２つの懸念事項について
１）LLMから始めたのはLSATを回避するため
アメリカ合衆国以外の法学学位を持つ入学希望者についてはLSATの試験を要求しない。

もし、小室圭氏が適切な法学学位を持ったずにフォーダム大学のLLMに入った場合は、こは一つの懸念事項です。

２）なぜ、フォーダム大ロースクールは小室圭氏の法学計画を許可したのか。
フォーダム大学は次の通りニュースレターを出していた。
「日本のプリンセス眞子と結婚を確約している奥野法律事務所でパラリーガルをしている小室圭氏は８月からフォーダム大学のロースクールで８月から参加します。
また、マーチン奨学金を得ました。マーチン奨学金は彼の強い学力とそのほかの経歴を元に学費を全額保証するものです。そして、1年間のLLMプログラムを終了したのち２年間のJDコースを希望しています。」
しかし、フォーダム大学では２年間のJDコースはすでに廃止され提供していない。
入学当時廃止されていた可能性もある。
これは何かしらの入学のために皇族特権のような特別な計らいがあったと考えられる。
この文章の中で３つの懸念事項がある。
１：なぜフォーダム大学は小室圭氏を日本のプリセンス眞子のフィアンセと紹介したのか。
ニューヨークタイムスは下記の通り報じている。
「彼は日本のプリンセスと結婚するかもしれないのであって、婚約者と呼ばないで。 木曜日に儀式や儀礼を監督する日本の宮内庁によってフォーダム大学はニュースリリースから削除しました」
小室圭氏は入学に際して日本のプリンセス眞子のフィアンセというステータスを利用してフォーダム大学の入学と奨学金を得た可能性がある。このニューヨークタイムズのレポートの後、フォーダム大学はニュースレターを変更している。
現に、フォーダム大学のニュースレターに「日本のプリンセス眞子と婚約している」記載があることから、入学と奨学金について皇族特権を使った可能性もある。

２：２年制のJDプログラムについて
現在２年制のJDプログラムは既に廃止されており、フォーダム大学はこのプログラムを提供していない。
可能性としてこの２年制のJDプログラムは小室圭氏の為のもので、何か特別対応がされた可能性がある。
そして、彼の名前は卒業生リストにも掲載されていない。

３：小室圭氏は学費の全額免除の奨学金を得たが、彼の経歴や学歴からその奨学金の条件を満たしていない可能性がある。
かれの日本のプリンセス眞子の婚約者というステータスが使われて奨学金を得たが可能性がある。
個人の利益や欲望のためにそのステータスを使うのは弁護士として適切ではない。
３：フォーダム大学のLLMコースに入学資格について
報道によると小室圭氏は一橋大学国際企業戦略科で経営法務コースを２０１８年に卒業している。
しかし、この経営法務コースは2018年に一橋大学の法学部に吸収されている。
ここでポイントになるのは経営法務コースは総合的な法律を学ぶものではなく、経営法務に特化したものである。
一般的に弁護士を目指す全ての人は４年制大学で総合的に法律を学ぶが、小室圭氏はそうではなく経営法務コースでだけ勉強をしている。
この学歴についてフォーダム大学のLLMコースへの入学資格があると認められるべきだったのかが疑問である。

４：司法試験の違法入手の可能性について
日本のメディアの一つ「月刊テーミス」によると小室圭氏が司法試験後日本総領事館に「聞いていた通りの問題が出た為、大丈夫」と報告された。
また、同じ問題が出たのであれば、不正の可能性もある。
これが本当であれば、不公平であり調査すべきである。
上記の４つの理由から、キャラクターアンドフィットネス部門には深く小室圭氏について調査してほしい。
