Jesse Lee Peterson, with the help of the proud boys, are coming to Modesto to host their Straight Pride Parade on Saturday August 28, 2021 as an attack against the LGBTQ+ community.

There goal is to harass, abuse, and degrade our community, to push the big lie that Donald Trump is the real president, and to start trouble. Jesse Lee Peterson is a conservative, transphobic, and racist radio host in Los Angeles, who promotes white supremacy, supports Jim Crow laws, has a history of  promoting violence against african americans, the LGBT+ community, mexicans, immigrants, and anyone who is not white.

Last year he came to Modesto, and nearly started a riot with his never ending hatred against trans women, calling them "men in dresses'', purposely misgendering them, and even getting into fights with them. They also attacked immigrants and violated our safe spaces.

I beg of you, please ban Jesse Lee Peterson and his entourage from joining the proud boys and destroying our city with their racist, bias, anti american rhetoric of hatred, vindication against the LGBTQ+ community, lies, slander and persecution. We don't want him in our city, on our streets, or in our neighborhoods. Jesse does not respect who we are, and is determined to make America straight again. Jesse Lee Peterson and his entourage are a danger to the city of Modesto and what we stand for as a community.

As mayor, I ask you to please do the right thing for the city of Modesto,CA, and do everything in your power to stop this Straight Pride Parade/Rally from happening on August 28 2021, and to make sure that he never sets foot in our city again. Our lives depend on it. Thank You for looking out for us.
